4ply Merino Sock Kelp Forest

This luxurious feeling merino sock yarn has a little nylon for durability, and a whole lot of softness from the 19.5 micron merino wool. This workhorse yarn is perfect for socks, sweaters, shawls and really, anything you can dream up to knit or crochet.

Imagine diving under a jetty on a sunny day - this is what Kelp Forest looks like. The bright green streaks are like the sun shining through a forest of waving kelp fronds, while the deeper shading is a nod to the depths from which they grow.

85% superwash merino, 15% nylon

This yarn can be machine washed on a gentle cycle, but for best results, hand wash in cool to warm water, gently squeeze excess water out (do not wring) and dry flat in the shade.

Hand-dyed yarns, even from the same dye batch, have subtle differences from skein to skein (it's part of the adventure!) For this reason, it is recommended to knit from multiple skeins at once to avoid obvious colour blocking.
